The Modway Articulate is a well rounded, reasonably priced mid back office chair. Although the Modway Articulate may not be the most ergonomically advanced or feature rich office chair, it’s still an excellent value at a great price.

Modway Articulate Style
For a budget friendly office chair, the Articulate Mesh Office Chair has a decent mesh style, comes in several different colors and won’t take up a ton of space at your desk or in your office.
Plus, it’s an all-around durable and solid mid back mesh office chair and is well worth the investment.
However – there are some other alternatives you should consider if you’re able to dish out some extra cash (like the Argomax EM-EC002).
For starters, let’s talk about the material used on the Modway Articulate: durable mesh and fabric (there is a leather seat option, but we recommend the mesh).
Mesh is a naturally more breathable material that holds much less heat than it’s main counterpart, which is leather. If you run hot (like I do), you should highly consider a mesh office chair because they tend to be much more breathable.
Plus, Mesh also tends to be more durable than genuine leather. Overall, the Modway Articulate meets our “cool sitting experience” expectations that come along with any mesh office chair.
Next, let’s talk about colors; the Articulate just so happens to come in a variety of different ones.

Last but not least, this chair is a bit on the smaller side, especially when compared to product like Lazy Boy Office Chairs.
If you’ve got a tight space or simply don’t want an office chair that takes up much room, the Modway Articulate is an excellent choice.

For a lower budget office chair, the Modway Articulate boasts several ergonomic features that similar priced office chairs lack. Our favorite features include: the adjustable settings, integrated lumbar support system, and the plush cushion seat for enhanced comfort.
Adjustable Settings
The Modway Articulate Mesh Office Chair is highly customizable and can be fit to your exact specifications. Along with the standard height and tilt adjustments, Modway took it a step further with the Articulate. The seat depth can also be adjusted on this model; plus, the armrests can be set to the proper height you prefer. This makes for a wide range of ergonomic capabilities. On top of that, the Articulate can be custom fit to different body styles.
Lumbar Support
Another ergonomic feature our team likes about the Modway Articulate is the integrated lumbar support. The integrated lumbar support system helps promote a healthy spine. Additionally, it assists in proper, upright posture which in turn can potentially increase energy and strengthen your back.
Plush Cushion Seat
On many mesh office chairs, the seat itself is mesh stretched tight over a plastic/metal frame. Not with the Articulate. With this office chair, you get a plush, cushy seat padding that is really comfortable. You won’t have to worry about this mesh office chair feeling too stiff like some others do.

Warranty and Lifetime Value
We’ll be straight up – the warranty for the Modway Articulate, and for any Modway chair for that matter, is not great. While they do have a warranty, it doesn’t cover much and does not last that long. There is only a one year warranty on the frame – and that’s it. Don’t get us wrong, the Articulate is a solid office chair, however the warranty does not reflect the quality of this model.

Even though the warranty could be better, at the end of the day, you’re still going to get a quality office chair at a more than reasonable price with the Modway Articulate mesh office chair.
